The noontime host and actor John Estrada has reacted to news that his ex-wife, actress Janice de Belen, is now a Kapamilya Network.
“I’m excited and I’m happy for her. Kung hindi ako nagkakamali, dito nagsimula si Janice. Matagal siyang naging Kapamilya and I welcome her with open arms. I think she made the right choice,” John told ABS-CBN's "Showbiz News Ngayon."
Estrada even invited de Belen to guest on his noontime show “Happy Yipee Yehey” to promote her upcoming show “Budoy.”
He also clarified reports regarding the supposed pregnancy of his wife Priscilla Meirelles.
Estrada said the pregnancy is not yet confirmed.
“Wala pa pero plano niya next week (magpa-check up). Kasi yung OB gyne niya out of the country yata. Sabi ko sa kanya just buy the pregnancy kit, sabi niya she’ll just wait for the doctor,” he added.
Estrada said he has noticed some changes about his wife which point to a possible pregnancy.
“Parati niyang gusto masuka. Very sensitive siya ngayon kahit nanonood lang kami ng TV show or movie sa bahay, bigla siyang umiiyak kaagad. It’s not her norm eh. Ako rin nung sa taping ako kahapon, medyo masama rin ang pakiramdam ko. Ganoon daw ‘yon eh, kapag nahakbangan ang asawa,” said John.
Estrada revealed that he wants to have a baby boy.
“Sabi ko sa asawa ko talaga sana boy. Kasi ‘yong anak ko na lalaki, he wants to be a brother to a boy daw. Tatlo na ang babae ko eh. But if it’s a girl, okay lang,” he said.
